Shannon & Alec: A Proper Boston Wedding from the Boston Public Garden to the Museum of Science
Shannon and Alec began their wedding day with quiet moments at the Royal Sonesta Boston, getting ready with the Charles River skyline stretching out the window and a personalized “Mrs. Guay” hanger waiting for the dress.
From there, they headed to the Boston Public Garden for a first look at the George Robert White Memorial fountain, followed by portraits with their full wedding party among the Garden’s swan boats and tree-lined paths — one of our favorite backdrops in the city.
The celebration continued at the Museum of Science, where heartfelt toasts were shared beneath the exhibit halls and the night closed out on a packed dance floor. Surrounded by dramatic exhibits and skyline views, their reception felt like nothing else — equal parts elegant and unexpected. It was a true Boston love story, told through every iconic stop along the way.
