Alexa and Andrew’s wedding at Eolia Mansion at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Connecticut was classic shoreline elegance from start to finish. The guys kicked things off among the columns and gardens, racing across the lawn in their tuxedos, while Alexa got ready inside the historic mansion with her mom and her bridesmaids, who looked stunning in deep emerald green.
A walk down Eolia’s grand white staircase led to a tearful moment with her dad, and then a quiet first look with Andrew in the gardens, with Long Island Sound stretching out behind them. After wedding party and family photos in front of the mansion, they said their vows on the lawn overlooking the water, surrounded by the people they love most.
We spent golden hour in the formal gardens and under the pergola before the celebration moved to the tent in the courtyard, with string lights, heartfelt toasts and a dance floor that lit up with glow sticks as the night went on. We ended the evening with night portraits on the staircase and in front of the glowing pergola.
