Not even the snow could stop this adventure...
How lucky did we get to have this fantastic family as our neighbors? After moving here in June of 2021, we met Erin and the girls on the first day of school. I was excited to find out that not only did we have kids in the same grade, but that Erin was expecting “Baby C.” I had just given birth to our third child in July (my first girl after 2 boys) and Erin and I are just about the same age, so I was already looking forward to having a ‘baby buddy’ right down the street (for me, not for the baby LOL!).
When Erin asked if I would do her maternity photos, I was over the moon! I already loved her and the girls and was really looking forward to getting to know Sergio, too. Erin and Serge wanted to keep things local and take photographs at Wilcox Park in Westerly, RI because they were married there. I also suggested that we add a quick stop over at the Cherenzia Companies on the Pawcatuck, CT side of the river to do a little studio-style shooting. The shoot ended up taking place the day after the huge January snowstorm, and on one of the coldest days of the year. But that didn’t stop this awesome family! We got so many fantastic shots inside and outside, regardless of the cold and piles of snow, which doesn’t surprise me at all after spending time with them all together. What a happy bunch!
And most exciting of all… tomorrow I get to go meet the littlest Cherenzia in person, and I can’t wait! Erin, Serge, Sienna, Lexi and Milo – thank you for inviting me into your lives at this special time. I’m so thrilled for your beautiful family!
