An Ocean House Dream Wedding for A Rhode Island Wedding Photographer

When Mary and Kevin told me that they would be getting married at the Ocean House, I wanted to jump for joy. I love being an Ocean House wedding photographer!

During our Watch Hill engagement session I got to know Mary and Kevin better. We did their engagement photos on the beach on a cloudy day. But the weather didn’t get us down. Mary and Kevin are both from Ireland and they said it seemed just like an Irish day at the beach. During their engagement session, they told me all about their plans for a sophisticated and classic wedding celebration at the Ocean House. And boy did they deliver!

The Morning of Their Ocean House Wedding

Mary and Kevin’s wedding was an Ocean House wedding photographer’s dream. Mary began in one of their suites with makeup done by the talented Ocean House team. It was there that she shared some emotional family moments, and put on her incredible wedding dress. One of my favorite memories of the day was Mary’s dress reveal to her parents and grandparents on the Ocean House roof deck.

Following their church wedding ceremony just down the road in Misquamicut, we returned to the Ocean House for amazing wedding photos out on the lawn and in the garden. If you get married at the Ocean House, make sure your Ocean House wedding photographer knows about the garden!

An Intimate Ocean House Wedding Reception

Then, it was time for their intimate wedding reception. Mary and Kevin had incredible flower and table arrangements done by Sharon Elizabeth’s in CT. The toasts by their friends and family were sweet and heartwarming. Their wedding cake was simple and beautiful. And the evening concluded with an incredible rainbow on the beach. This was followed by an Ocean House sparkler send off for the bride and groom. Congrats Mary and Kevin! Thank you for allowing me to capture your amazing Ocean House wedding day!
