A garden wedding at Eolia Mansion at Harkness Park

Haley & Anthony’s beautiful garden wedding at Eolia Mansion at Harkness Park was a classic and elegant affair, full of love, laughter and joy. And while their wedding day may have started out a little gray, the threat of rain passed and they were able to get married outside, in the West (Italian) Garden. After the ceremony, the sun came out and provided us with a magnificent sunset that just added to the glow surrounding these two sweethearts!

The afternoon began in the East Garden, where Haley and Anthony had their first look surrounded by their bridesmaids and groomsmen.

Haley and Anthony followed their first look with bridal party & family photos, and romantic couple’s portrait session. We used both the mansion lawn and the outer gardens for their couple’s session, which included a secret hideaway under the trees. The mansion lawn was the perfect place to round out their photos together, and to get some great shots of the whole bridal party.

With the imminent threat of rain, the chairs for Haley and Anthony’s wedding ceremony had been set up on the covered back patio of the mansion. It actually sprinkled for a few moments, but then it was clear that the storm had passed. To make the bride and grooms dream of a garden wedding come true, all of the guests rallied together and carried their own chairs out to the Italian Garden. It was amazing to see everyone come together!

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Haley was walked through the garden and down the aisle to meet her beaming husband-to-be at the alter. There, in front of the columns, and before their family and friends, they were married by Haley’s dear college professor. Everything went of almost without a hitch – except for when everyone realized that they had forgotten to exchange rings before they kissed one another! There was a roar of laughter, rings were exchanged, the bride and groom kissed again and everyone celebrated.

The couple attended cocktail hour briefly, and then we were off for a sunset photo session with the Bride and Groom. Haley and Anthony were simply perfect together as we strolled across the Harkness grounds. The golden glow of sunset was only outmatched by their love for one another!

Haley and Anthony rounded out the evening with a fun-filled and joyful reception. A good time was most definitely had by all!

Thank you Haley and Anthony for trusting me with your amazing wedding! I am so grateful to have been a part of your big day!
