Nicole and Jeffrey celebrated their wedding at the Salem Cross Inn on one of the most beautiful Saturdays of the season. It was a sunny day full of laughter, joy and love, shared by this sweet couple and their families and friends.

The Salem Cross Inn is a perfect place for a wedding; they have an historic house with a bridal suite for getting ready, their grounds are sweeping and picturesque, and the barn for receptions is both rustic and very charming, inside and out. In fact, one of my favorite places to take photos of the couple was in front of the beautiful barn doors.

Nicole and Jeffrey did the majority of their getting ready (hair, makeup etc) at a nearby hotel, and then headed to the Salem Cross Inn for final touches, a first look with the bride’s father and a first look for the bride and groom. Their wedding ceremony itself was held out on the lawn in front of the large white gazebo. One of the cutest moments in the ceremony was when Nicole and Jeffrey’s son came down the aisle with his cousins while they performed their duties as ring bearer and flower girls, respectively.

Immediately following the ceremony the bride and groom hopped into a horse-drawn carriage for a scenic and romantic ride across the grounds of the Salem Cross Inn. As the sun set, the bride and groom headed into the barn for their reception. The entrances were fun and energetic and the central dance floor at the Salem Cross Inn allowed for all to see as Nicole danced with her new husband, and then with her father. The parent dances concluded with a mother-son dance between Jeffrey and his mom.

After that, I stole the bride and groom for just a few more moments to capture some fantastic moments with them twirling and swirling Nicole’s beautiful dress in front of the barn doors. The bride and groom then went back into the Inn for a fantastic dance party with their friends and family. Their son stole the show during the cake cutting as he snuck up front and dipped his finger into the cake! They closed out the evening with a last private dance outside of the barn and then headed off to what I can only imagine was an amazing after party! Congrats Nicole & Jeffrey!
